Hayling Island Sailing Club (HISC) is one of the premier dinghy sailing clubs in the country, located on the seafront at Sandy Point. The club has hosted national and international championships and is closely associated with the sport of windsurfing, which was invented on the island in 1958. The club offers racing, training, and social activities for members of all ages. The clubhouse has a bar and terrace with views across the harbour entrance towards East Head and the Sussex coast.
