Sinah Common
Nature, Hayling Island
Sinah Common is an area of open grassland and scrub on the south-western peninsula of Hayling Island. The common provides public access to a wild, exposed stretch of coastline and is popular with walkers and dog owners. The grassland supports wildflowers and insects, and the exposed position creates a windswept environment that feels far removed from the sheltered inland streets. Views from the common extend across the harbour entrance, the Solent, and the Isle of Wight on clear days.
